A native of Boston, Massachusetts,  Kathy is a graduate of Virginia Tech, holding a BS in Marketing.  She has held various marketing and management positions since her graduation.   The mother of 3 children, ages 13, 17 and 18, Kathy and her family have lived in Alpharetta for 12 years.

Beyond years of formal classroom training throughout Georgia and the east coast, Kathy’s interest in faux painting and love for the creative was actually born of necessity.    Prior to returning to the workplace, Kathy and her husband, Randy, purchased, decorated and sold 7 different residences in a span of 8 years, as they relocated to support Randy’s career.  This need for efficient, attractive and creative home decoration became the catalyst for cultivating a natural love of artistic painting and design.

Kathy created This Faux House Designs a little over 10 years ago, primarily as an outlet for the creativity that she sought to share beyond a small group of friends and family.

The company’s reputation for quality in design, consultation and application services has led to extraordinary growth and a desire to expand those services to the artisan community, as well as residential and commercial clients.

Biography

Kathy Anders is the President and Owner of This Faux House Designs, Inc. in Alpharetta, Georgia.

A native of Boston, MA.,  Kathy is a graduate of Virginia Tech, holding a BS in Marketing.  She has held various marketing and management positions since her graduation.   The mother of 3 children, ages 9, 12 and 13, Kathy and her family have lived in Alpharetta for 8 years.

In her “limited” spare time, Kathy enjoys her children’s activities, reading, volunteer work and tennis.
